Iron Mountain is seeking a committed Security Operator to join our North American Security Operations Center (SOC) team at the Boyers Underground Facility. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the Company’s people, property, and processes by continuously monitoring security systems, coordinating resource allocation, managing critical incidents, and providing first-class customer service.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
In this role, you will:

Continuous Monitoring & Threat Detection: Monitor various security systems such as CCTV, access control, alarms, and open-source intelligence platforms for potential threats and incidents.

Critical Incident Response & Dispatch: Respond to alarms, security breaches, and other incidents by following established protocols, dispatching security personnel or emergency services as needed, and documenting all actions. Escalate significant security incidents to appropriate personnel, such as shift supervisors or managers.

Compliance & System Integrity: Follow all established security protocols, policies, and procedures. Ensure all security systems and equipment are functioning properly and report any issues or malfunctions.

Analysis & Communication: Analyze security threats and vulnerabilities, assess their potential impact, and provide recommendations for mitigation. Communicate effectively with internal teams, external agencies (e.g., law enforcement, emergency services) during incidents.

Documentation & Reporting: Accurately document all security-related incidents, investigations, and other relevant information in a clear and concise manner.

Stay Informed: Keep abreast of current security threats, trends, and best practices to ensure the safety and security of the organization.
What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)
The ideal candidate will have:

4-8 years of experience in the Private Security Sector, Law Enforcement, or equivalent experience.

Associate degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or other relevant field preferred
-
Strong knowledge of security alarm monitoring principles, dispatching, and coordinating resource allocation.

Proven ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.

Proficiency in using security technology, systems, and software applications such as ProWatch, Milestone, Avigilon, Crisis24, Intrusion Detection, or other Access Control and CCTV security applications.

Strong organizational and time management skills: ability to work independently and as part of a team; excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.

Familiarity with emergency management and incident response procedures.
What We Offer (Benefits)

Pay: $25.17/hr + 10% For Overnight Shifts; Bi-Weekly Direct Deposit

Shift: Panama (2-2-3) Rotating Schedule, 7 PM to 7 AM
