RN Unit Manager Salaried: $82,329- $84,337 (depending on experience) Equivalent Hourly: $42.25- $43.25 Shift: Full-Time Schedule: Day Shift, rotating on-call weekends

Roscoe Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is looking to add an RN Unit Manager to its nursing leadership team. In this role, you'll oversee the clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit, ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, staff supervision, and interdisciplinary coordination. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the clinical care and daily operations of an assigned nursing unit

  • Supervise nursing staff, nursing assistants, rehabilitation aides, and unit support staff

  • Conduct resident assessments and ensure care plans are implemented, updated, and followed appropriately

  • Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes with providers, families, and interdisciplinary team members

  • Review provider orders, laboratory results, incident reports, and quality indicators

  • Participate in care plan meetings, family meetings, QAPI activities, and interdisciplinary rounds

  • Coordinate admissions, discharges, transfers, outside appointments, and resident services

  • Ensure accurate documentation, medication management, and regulatory compliance

  • Support staff education, orientation, coaching, and performance management activities

  • Monitor infection control, immunization tracking, resident safety, and quality improvement initiatives

  • Address resident, family, and staff concerns while promoting a positive care environment

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • Valid NYS Registered Nurse (RN) License required

  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a long-term care setting required

  • 3-5 years of long-term care experience with supervisory experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of resident assessments, care planning, and long-term care regulations

  • Leadership experience with the ability to supervise, coach, and mentor staff

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to coordinate care across multiple disciplines and manage competing priorities

  • Experience with quality improvement, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance preferred

  • Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care
