Jennie-O Turkey Store - 3rd Shift Sanitor - Barron, WI

Hourly pay rate: $22.48

Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing your work area

2. Includes the use of chemical cleaners, sanitizers and acids to maintain compliance with the Jennie-O Turkey Store and USDA regulations

3. Any and all other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Minimum Qualifications

***** Able to work in a Food plant (which may be cold and damp or hot and humid)

***** Good written and verbal communication skills

***** Thorough knowledge of all jobs and chemicals used within the department

***** Ability to work with minimal supervision

***** Simple math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) required

***** No attendance work actions in the last 6 months

***** No performance work actions in the last 6 months

***** PHYSICAL: Able to climb stairs and/or work on elevated stands or platforms

***** Able to lift 50 lbs. on an occasional basis

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience with foaming equipment operation and maintenance

Specific training and experience in the use of caustics, sanitizers and acids
