Location : New Bern, NC
Pay Rate : $32/hour
Employment Type : Contingent with potential pathway for hire
Start Date : ASAP
Assignment Length : 2 months to start, with potential for extension or hire
Schedule : approximately 3 days/week (8 AM – 4:30 PM)

What You'll Do

Provide medical nutrition therapy (MNT) across inpatient units

Educate patients on nutrition strategies for acute and chronic conditions

Conduct nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans

Deliver individual and group counseling sessions in outpatient settings

Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including peer chart audits

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes

Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards

Practice at full scope, including order writing (as applicable)
What We're Looking For

A current, up-to-date resume

Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field

Registered Dietitian credential (RD/RDN)
-
Active state licensure
-
Experience in outpatient counseling or clinical nutrition preferred

Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills

Ability to meet compliance requirements
