Western Kentucky University (WKU) is seeking a highly organized and technically skilled Assistant Research Hydrologist to serve as Lab Manager for the Crawford Hydrology Laboratory (CHL). CHL is a nationally and internationally recognized leader in groundwater flow investigations, specializing in advanced fluorescent dye tracing techniques within karst landscape and aquifer systems.
The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day laboratory operations, oversee quality assurance programs, supervise student employees, assist with field investigations.
Job Requirements:

Master's degree in Geosciences, Hydrology, Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a closely related STEM discipline.

Demonstrated experience working in an analytical laboratory environment.

Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation, data analysis software, and standard scientific quality control protocols.

Strong technical writing abilities and excellent interpersonal communication for client and university relations.
Additional Information:
Hourly Range: $24.62 - $25.64
