Full job description

You will be a part of the engineering team immediately focused on developing LightCell prototypes for deployment in government and commercial pilot projects. We are seeking a hands-on engineer capable of building prototypes, who is excited to grow as we move from prototype to product.

Qualifications and skills

  • Working towards a BS or MS/MEng in mechanical engineering, or other engineering field with strong mechanical engineering skills, is required.
  • Strong extracurricular project, internship project, personal projects, or undergraduate research project, etc. that demonstrates the ability to complete an engineering design cycle: ideation, CAD, prototyping, integration, and testing.
  • Demonstrated ability to build physical prototypes is required. Strong hands-on skills working with intricate mechanical assemblies are required. Prior mill and lathe experience is highly desired.
