Full job description

Aids in the organizing, directing and controlling of the activities of the Sterile Processing Department in conjunction with the Sterile Processing Department Manager.
Provides constant and consistent supervision while on duty.
Assists the Sterile Processing Department Manager in helping to recruit, select, orient, train, discipline, and evaluate employees as necessary.
Responsible to practice in a professional manner the necessary leadership in representing, promulgating and enforcing the standards of quality assurance, infection control, JCAHO and other regulatory agencies.
Certification Required
Sterile Processing Department or related experience of at least once year is necessary.
Supervisory experience in the healthcare field is favored.
High school diploma is mandatory

Shift: Day shift with some weekends

Pay rate: TBD

Contract: 3 months +

Start date: ASAP
