Caregiver Responsibilities

As a Caregiver, you will provide essential in-home support that helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene

  • Providing companionship and emotional support

  • Preparing meals and assisting with nutrition

  • Performing light housekeeping duties

  • Providing medication reminders

  • Supporting activities of daily living

  • Maintaining a safe and positive environment for clients

Qualifications

  • Caregiving, HCA, or CNA experience preferred but not required

  • Willingness to complete Idaho caregiver training requirements if needed

  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds

  • Ability to pass a competency evaluation, drug screen, and nationwide background check

  • Reliable, caring, and compassionate attitude

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
