Full job description

Shift: 5:30 AM-5:30 PM

Hourly Rate: $29.33 an hour

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will conduct predictive maintenance testing and analysis on equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations while maintaining food safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct ultrasonic testing of equipment to identify potential issues before failure

  • Perform thermography testing to monitor equipment temperatures and detect abnormalities

  • Complete oil analysis to support preventative maintenance strategies

  • Assist contractors with vibration and annual thermography analysis activities

  • Train maintenance technicians on sheave alignment, laser alignment, belt tensioning, and proper use of tools and gauges

  • Create detailed reports from predictive testing results and initiate corrective work orders

  • Prioritize corrective work orders based on equipment criticality and failure timelines

  • Coordinate with maintenance planners and supervisors to ensure timely completion of corrective work

  • Maintain and manage predictive maintenance databases and records

  • Develop predictive maintenance routes and preventive maintenance tasks in maintenance systems

  • Support implementation of predictive maintenance practices across departments

  • Load and maintain software used for predictive maintenance processes

  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and plant requirements

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Experience with maintenance, predictive testing, or equipment analysis is helpful

  • Knowledge of ultrasonic testing, thermography, oil analysis, or willingness to learn

  • Understanding of maintenance systems, work orders, and preventative maintenance practices

  • Strong problem-solving skills to address equipment issues and interpret test results

  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with maintenance and operations teams

  • Works effectively with contractors and internal teams to support maintenance activities

  • Comfortable working with computer systems, databases, and maintenance software

  • Dependable attendance and attention to detail in completing assigned work

  • Works with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and efficiency

Physical Requirements

  • Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.

  • Performing consistent repetitive tasks.

  • Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
