Full job description

Teaching Responsibilities

  • Provide instruction including hands-on, Zoom and/or online delivery

  • Classroom management and administrative tasks that may include reports, syllabus and lesson plan development

  • Assess the accomplishment of students on a regular basis

  • Maintain records of student attendance, grades, and progress Instructional Development

  • Assist in the development of computer technology curriculum as needed

  • Recommend for approval instructional materials for a course(s).

  • Work with other areas of the college as needed such as tutoring, retention, etc. to help ensure student success Professional Development

  • Attend relevant professional meetings

  • Represent the College positively in interactions with the community and with professional and academic groups at the local, state, and national levels Master's Degree in Computer Technology or a closely related field and a minimum of 18 graduate hours in database, web development, programming (any of Python, C++, Java, PHP, Mobile Apps Design), networking, operating systems, and/or other computer-related classes are required. Experience teaching computer-related courses is preferred. Candidates must possess excellent written and verbal skills.
