Full job description

PGW Auto Glass is seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Demand Planner to join our Supply Chain team. The Demand Planner will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts that support inventory optimization, customer service objectives, and overall business performance. This role will collaborate closely with Sales, Category Management, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure demand plans reflect current market conditions, business strategies, and customer requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Generate monthly demand forecasts using Oracle Fusion demand planning software.

  • Develop consensus forecasts leveraging Oracle statistical model output, macroeconomic data, and market intelligence, working with sales, category management, and finance teams.

  • Review and adjust the forecast as needed in response to metrics performance, new product launches, market conditions, and company strategy.

  • Play an integral role in monthly demand review meetings as part of the monthly SIOP process.

   

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields:

  • Business Administration

  • Supply Chain Management

  • Finance

  • Economics

  • Engineering

 

Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret complex data sets in a high SKU count environment.

  • Proficiency in Excel, forecasting, and ERP software. Power BI experience a plus.

  • Possess an understanding of business and supply chain planning processes.

  • Ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels and functions within the organization.

  • Problem-solving skills, ability to research and determine the root cause of gaps between demand and forecast, and implement corrective actions.

 

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This is a hybrid work environment. Team members are expected to work three days a week in the corporate office and two days a week in the home office.
