Full job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals. Determining supplier channels, identifying reliable suppliers, building YOY long term cost reduction pipeline through strategic supplier management.

Identify, evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, price and other criteria. Negotiate contracts, terms and conditions with suppliers, and maintain working relationships to ensure steady supply of parts.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess their needs, provide procurement guidance, and resolve any issues.

Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions in the supply chain. Stay updated on market dynamics, regulatory changes, and geopolitical factors that may impact procurement.

Work closely with cross-functional teams such as engineering, product management, finance, operation material and quality team to align procurement activities with overall business objectives. And execute procurement related projects.

Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to identify new opportunities. Analyze pricing trends, negotiate favorable terms, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality. Conduct regular cost and supplier performance reviews to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.

Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and streamlining of procurement activities.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and certifications in the mechanical industry. Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and documentation to support audits and provide transparency.

Demonstrate high personal integrity in conducting business with external/internal parties. Ensure compliance to the laws, business guidelines and code of conduct, company ethical standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree in engineering, supply chain or business.

Familiar with supplier development process, and project management process.

3+ years of proven working experience as Procurement Manager, any bidding event experiences will be a plus.

5+ years of working experience in mechanical/Machinery industry, familiar with sheet metal, casting, motor, heat exchanger, valve etc.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to introduce win-win solutions

Effective leadership, teamwork, communications and influencing skills.

Good written, oral communication skills in English

Able to work under pressure and on multiple tasks at the same time with good time management skills.
