As a Caregiver at Executive Home Care of Diablo Valley, you will play a pivotal role in providing essential personal care and assistance to our clients in the comfort of their homes.

Immediate need for experienced, licensed applicants for 2 4 hour shifts per week in Brentwood Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays 2pm-6pm. Must have reliable transportation to drive the client. The right candidate will have experience with Dementia patients, be comfortable with dogs and have a passion for engaging with seniors and improving their day to day living experience.

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):

  • Provide support with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.

  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.

• Medication Reminders:

  • Provide reminders for medication according to prescribed schedules.

  • Support clients in managing their medication routines.

• Meal Preparation and Nutrition:

  • Assist with meal planning and preparation, adhering to dietary requirements.

  • Monitor and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.

• Companionship and Social Interaction:

  • Engage clients in meaningful conversations and companionship.

  • Accompany clients to appointments and social activities.

• Health Monitoring:

  • Observe and report changes in clients' health status to the care team.

  • Document care provided and any notable observations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Previous experience as a caregiver

  • Certification in CPR and First Aid.

  • Active California Home Health Aid license.

  • Compassionate and empathetic attitude.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
