Work you'll do
As an Analytics and Insights Engineer III on the AI & Engineering team, you will be responsible for:

Integrate large-scale client data and conduct statistical analyses supporting investigative, litigation, and claims-management needs
-
Design and implement artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) solutions, including supervised and unsupervised models, for anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and investigative insights across healthcare, financial, and mass tort data
-
Manage large or unstructured data in Amazon Web Services (AWS) GovCloud using data lakes, serverless computing, AWS Lambda, and extract, transform, and load (ETL) practices
-
Develop automated, reproducible, and auditable workflows for data collection, processing, statistical analysis, and reporting; identify automation opportunities that improve efficiency and accuracy

Train client personnel on dashboards, analytical tools, and AI-assisted workflows; provide reference materials and ongoing support to promote responsible AI use

Independently review statistical estimates and machine-learning evaluations performed by team members, including population selection, assumptions, calculation logic, and interpretation

Qualifications
Required:

Bachelor's degree

Ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
-
5+ years of professional experience applying data science, statistics, or mathematics using Python, R, or another analytical or statistical programming language
-
4+ years of experience developing and training custom AI/ML models using supervised and unsupervised learning, including natural language processing (NLP) for unstructured data
-
2+ years of experience manipulating unstructured data from multiple platforms and using Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or Elastic X-Pack for data visualization; experience using Structured Query Language (SQL) for database administration or SQL programming
-
Ability to travel 10-15%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
-
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
-
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) big data and analytics services, including Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Athena, Amazon Aurora, Snowflake, and cloud-based data pipelines
-
Experience applying Section 508 or Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standards to dashboards and data visualizations
-
Experience using dbt, Apache Airflow, or Dagster for data transformation and pipeline orchestration
-
Experience applying AI/ML methods in litigation-support or other legally sensitive environments
-
Experience building data visualizations and presenting quantitative concepts to nontechnical audiences
-
Experience independently reviewing statistical or machine-learning analyses, including assumptions, methodology, and interpretation
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,000 to $188,400.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
