Title: Clinical Nurse - RN NICU Internship - Start date for new hires and internal new grads, February 15, 2027. Internship begins March I, 2027.

Positions details:

• Location: St. Joseph's Women's Hospital - 101 Avenue O SE, Winter Haven, Florida 33880

• Status: Full Time

• Shift once internship concludes: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

• Weekends: Every other

• On Call: No

• Always in person

• Exempt: No

NICU Internship Overview:

This position is for new RNs or experienced RNs with little or no NICU experience dedicated to the care of neonates with complications of prematurity, congenital anomalies, or other disease processes.

• Preceptorship includes 24 - 26 weeks of clinical experience; length determined by the individual needs of the intern.

• Clinical experiences provided during the didactic portion of the internship.

• NRP and S.T.A.B.L.E. certifications included in the program.

• There is a two-year required commitment for the internship program specifically to the unit of hire.

• Once the internship is complete, you will be working NIGHTS (6:45 PM-7:15 AM).

Certifications and Licensures:

• BLS (Basic Life Support) by American Heart required

• Registered Nurse license

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred
