Chevron Gulf of Mexico Business Unit's Aircraft Operations is accepting online applications for the position of GOMBU Aviation Fuel Tech located in Picayune, MS Mississippi/United States through October 19th, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).

The position of Aviation Fuel Tech will be responsible of ensuring clean, dry, on specification fuel is delivered to our fueling facilities, appropriately stored, and safely dispensed into aircraft as per the GOMBU Aircraft Operations Jet Fuel Quality Control Manual in conjunction with the Chevron Aviation Safety Assurance Standards. This is to include, but not be limited to routinely used aviation fuel facilities at non-Chevron operated locations, Chevron marine shore base locations, and fueling locations operated and/or used on offshore installations. Aviation Fuel Tech will manage aviation fuel at Company locations in accordance with the policies and guidelines contained in the Chevron Aviation Standards, which includes, but is not limited to the following services:

  • Assist with and approve the design of new or upgraded company aviation refueling facilities.

  • Repairs, maintenance, and inspection of all company onshore and offshore aviation refueling equipment.

  • Manage company owned or rented mobile aviation refueling equipment.

  • Manage the ordering, receipt, and inspection of aviation fuel.

  • Manage and schedule Jet-A fuel system tests, inspections, and repairs.

  • Manage and schedule aviation Jet-A fuel tote tank tests, inspections, and repairs so that they remain in compliance.

  • Ensure proper performance of all checks and tests specified in the GOMBU Aircraft Operations Jet Fuel Quality Control Manual are performed and accurate records are maintained.

  • Ensure a documented record of all aviation Jet-A fuel tote tank tests, inspections, and repairs are performed and accurate records are maintained.

  • Ensure a documented record of all aviation Jet-A fuel tote tank GPS trackers, sling certifications and inspections are performed, and accurate records are maintained.

  • Maintain an adequate inventory of aviation Jet-A fuel tote tanks to meet GOMBU’s needs.

  • Maintain an adequate inventory of Jet-A fuel system and tote tank consumables, parts, and filters.
