Full job description

Position Summary

Provides advanced administrative, fiscal, operational, and project management support to the Director and departmental leadership. Assists in the planning, implementation, and oversight of departmental financial, operational, personnel, customer service and administrative functions to ensure the effective management, sustainability, and growth of the department. Serves as a key resource for fiscal monitoring, operational coordination, leadership support, special projects, and strategic initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in a business-related field or in a field which corresponds to the particular department of employment; three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in office procedures and administration, or in performing responsibilities related to the operational activities of the employing unit; experience in a supervisory role; experience with word processing, database, spreadsheet, presentation software and/or desktop publishing, web page software; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Qualifications

Working knowledge of spreadsheet, database, financial, and enterprise administrative systems is required. Experience preparing financial reports, maintaining accounting records, coordinating travel and facilities activities, managing calendars, and supporting multiple operational functions is desired.
