Full job description

Are you interested in an internship opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) and/or graduate (MS) degree to participate in a 3-month paid internship with the North America Strategy & Growth team. Through this role, you will gain meaningful, direct experience contributing to strategy development, build research, analytical, and communication skills, and share your work with business leaders at a global HealthTech company.

Your role:

  • Support strategic projects that contribute to key business objectives and team priorities, helping frame questions, build analyses, and shape recommendations.

  • Conduct market, customer, and competitive research; specifically assessing industry trends, competitor positioning, customer needs, and shifts in care delivery to identify market whitespace and potential growth opportunities for Philips. Partner with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that improve processes, customer experience, business performance, or operational effectiveness.

  • Create and maintain presentations, reports, dashboards, communication materials, and other business deliverables that make complex information clear and actionable.

  • Use AI-enabled tools, analytics platforms, and Microsoft productivity solutions to enhance efficiency and generate insights, as well as identify responsible ways to apply AI to research, analysis, and knowledge synthesis for the strategy team. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, networking events, and professional development opportunities to build business knowledge and relationships.

  • Present findings, recommendations, and project outcomes to leadership and stakeholders, gaining exposure to executive-level discussions. Contribute innovative ideas and continuous improvement opportunities that can create measurable business value.

You're the right fit if:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) and/or graduate (MS/MBA) degree in business, economics, finance, marketing, public health, healthcare administration, engineering, analytics, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, strong written and verbal communication, and organizational skills.

  • Eagerness to take on significant responsibilities, contribute ideas, and learn through hands-on work.

  • Curious, persistent information seeker with a high degree of initiative and strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to synthesize quantitative and qualitative information. Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook); project management software experience a plus.

  • Coursework, projects, or internship experience in strategy, market research, competitive analysis, or healthcare is a plus; experience with analytics, AI tools, data visualization, project management, or process improvement methodologies is also a plus.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
