Health Data Coordinator

The Health Data Coordinator would assemble and maintain patients' health information in medical records and charts. Enter all necessary information into the system. Communicate with physicians and staff to clarify diagnoses or get additional information. May also assign a code to each diagnosis and procedure.

Required Qualifications

• You will have data entry experience entering important and sensitive patient information
• You will have experience maintaining EHR records
• You will have 1 or more years of experience in medical setting
• You will have experience processing medical paperwork
• You must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences.

Other Qualifications

• You will be Bilingual in English and Spanish
• You will have an associate or bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Previous healthcare or health insurance experience
• Familiarity with medical terminology and ICD-9, ICD-10 and CPT codes
• Humana considers this role patient facing and runs its Tuberculosis (TB) screening program, which includes this role. If selected for this role, we will require you to screen for TB.

Scheduled Weekly Hours

40 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$38,000 - $45,800 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
