Warehouse & Inside Sales Associate

We are seeking a Warehouse & Inside Sales Associate to assist with daily order fulfillment, inventory management, customer service, and outbound sales calls. This is a diverse position that combines physical warehouse responsibilities with office and sales support. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, comfortable speaking with customers, and able to work independently while managing changing priorities. Because we operate with a small team, reliability, communication, and a willingness to take initiative are essential. ## Key Responsibilities Warehouse & Order Fulfillment - Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment. - Receive incoming merchandise, inspect deliveries, and organize inventory. - Maintain an orderly, clean, and efficient warehouse. - Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment. - Prepare shipments using FedEx, USPS, and other freight carriers. - Identify and report inventory discrepancies or shipping issues. Customer Service & Office Support - Answer incoming telephone calls and assist customers with product inquiries. - Enter and process customer orders accurately. - Respond to customer questions regarding orders, shipping, and product availability. - Assist with basic administrative tasks and recordkeeping. - Communicate clearly with team members to ensure orders are processed correctly. Inside Sales & Customer Outreach - Make outbound telephone calls to existing and prospective business customers. - Follow up with customers regarding product needs and sales opportunities. - Introduce products and services to contractors, builders, and other potential customers. - Maintain accurate records of customer conversations and follow-up activities. - Assist with preparing quotes and coordinating sales opportunities. - Develop product knowledge through training and hands-on experience. ## Qualifications - Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. - Dependable attendance and punctuality. - Comfortable making outbound telephone calls and speaking professionally with customers. - Basic computer skills, including email, spreadsheets, and data entry. - Ability to follow established procedures and manage multiple responsibilities. - Strong organizational skills and a willingness to ask questions when clarification is needed. - Ability to work independently and contribute to a small team. - Ability to safely lift and move packages weighing up to 40 pounds, with reasonable accommodations as applicable. Preferred but Not Required - Previous warehouse, shipping, or inventory experience. - Customer service, inside sales, or telephone sales experience. - Familiarity with order-entry or inventory-management software. - Knowledge of construction materials, HVAC equipment, or building products.
