Full job description

The Coordinator of Recruitment and Community Engagement leads the University of Maine Honors College's efforts to recruit and enroll an academically talented and engaged student body and plays a critical role in our student success efforts by creating a seamless continuum from prospective student engagement through active participation in the Honors community. Typical hiring range for this position is $45,500 to $48,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

  • One year of related experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present effectively to a variety of audiences

  • Interest in fostering student growth and development

  • Proficiency with technology platforms such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, etc.

Preferred:

  • At least two years’ related experience

  • Experience with college admissions and/or recruitment

  • Experience designing, leading and managing events

  • Ability to manage, analyze, and interpret data and data sets

  • Experience designing materials for online and print media
