Description

The R2L Delivery organization is seeking a Sr. Program Manager to lead strategic, cross-functional programs that will shape the future of our last-mile delivery network. This role owns the end-to-end strategy and execution of high-impact operations and technology programs across the R2L business, serving as a key partner to senior leadership in defining where we go next.

This role demands strong expertise in delivery operations, last-mile logistics, network design, and the ability to translate complex, ambiguous business problems into scalable solutions. The Sr. Program Manager will define program strategy, build mechanisms that drive operational excellence, and influence decisions across multiple organizations. They will operate with high autonomy, navigating significant ambiguity to identify the highest-leverage opportunities and driving alignment across Director and VP stakeholders.

The role requires scoping and structuring large-scale programs, building frameworks to manage complexity, and communicating strategy, risks, and trade-offs to senior and executive leadership. The ideal candidate brings a track record of delivering results at scale, building new capabilities from zero-to-one, and raising the bar on how programs are run.

This role can be located in the New York and Nashville corporate offices.

Key job responsibilities

  • Defining and driving the strategic roadmap for programs that reduce cost, improve quality, and accelerate speed across the last-mile delivery network

  • Leading cross-functional initiatives from ideation through execution, establishing mechanisms that ensure sustained results at scale

  • Building frameworks and standards that elevate how programs are managed across the R2L organization

  • Identifying and sizing the largest opportunities across delivery operations, making trade-off recommendations to senior leadership

  • Influencing technology and operations investment priorities through data-driven business cases

  • Serving as the connective tissue across partner teams (operations, technology, finance, planning) to drive alignment on complex, multi-quarter initiatives

Demonstrated Competencies

The Sr. Program Manager will also demonstrate:

  • Confidence operating in highly ambiguous, fast-moving environments with competing priorities

  • Track record of building programs or capabilities from scratch

  • Ability to see around corners and anticipate second-order effects of decisions

  • Comfort making high-judgment calls with incomplete information

  • Ability to influence without authority across organizational boundaries

  • Proven ability to simplify complexity and communicate a clear narrative to senior audiences

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to balance data with business intuition
