Full job description

Operations Supervisor

Adecco is now hiring for one of the largest control systems manufacturers, and this is your chance to work with them in the Santa Clarita Valley! This is a temporary assignment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to front line team members in meeting their daily production targets to ensure customer expectations are met.

  • Allocates and coordinates resources effectively to meet operational objectives.

  • Conducts performance evaluations, provides feedback, manages member development, recognition and ensures accountability and policy adherence.

  • Identifies and resolves day-to-day technical and operational issues and coaching and mentoring team's problem-solving capabilities.

  • Collaborates with key stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness to improve the production system and meet customer demand.

  • Guide, motivate, and inspire teams to achieve goals while fostering collaboration, accountability, and a positive work environment.

  • Analyze situations, evaluate options, and develop effective solutions using logic, creativity, and sound judgment.

  • Oversee daily operations, optimize processes, allocate resources effectively, and ensure productivity while meeting organizational goals and maintaining quality standards. Adjust resources and priorities based on capacity, material availability, and customer demand.

  • Sets example and models excellent communication skills with internal stakeholders, support teams, and with own team

  • Identify critical tasks and allocate time and resources accordingly. Balances urgent production needs with short-term improvement initiatives. Consistently meets production and delivery targets. Manages competing priorities without compromising quality or safety.

  • Follows lean practices such as 5S and waste reduction. Participates and support continuous improvement activities.

  • Effectively lead team through 5S, Visual Management, standardized work, and Daily Management System.

  • Analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities. Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like SAP. Basic understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) for inventory and production scheduling

  • Works collaboratively with team members to support overall team objectives and workflow. Ensuring team members are trained and certified. Collaborates across teams, shares knowledge, and supports team goals. Builds strong cross-functional relationships and fosters a collaborative culture.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Operations Supervisor experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Bachelor’s degree in management, or related field preferred.

  • Strong skills in Excel, Power BI, or Tableau for operational reporting.

  • Strong problem-solving, research, analytical and communicational skills.

Schedule Needed:

Monday through Friday, 2 nd and 3 rd Shifts available

Pay Details: $93,000.00 to $149,000.00 per year
