Veterinary Technician at VCA 80 Dodge Animal Hospital

Schedule: Part-time opportunity

VCA 80 Dodge Animal Hospital is an AAHA-accredited hospital located in Omaha, Nebraska, with a long-standing commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate veterinary care. Serving the community for over 30 years, we offer variety of services, including preventive care, dentistry, surgery, internal medicine, diagnostics, and urgent care.

The team takes pride in delivering personalized care to pets, building lasting relationships with clients, and maintaining high standards of veterinary medicine.

As a Licensed Veterinary Technician , you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care. You’ll work closely with our veterinarians to support a variety of medical procedures while helping guide clients through their pet’s care with confidence and compassion.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and recovery

  • Perform dental cleanings, charting, and radiographs

  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments

  • Collect samples and run in-house diagnostics

  • Place catheters and support patient treatments

  • Educate clients on care plans, medications, and follow-up

What We’re Looking For

  • Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) or eligible to sit for the VTNE

  • Strong technical and clinical skills

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Commitment to high-quality patient care

Compensation

$24.00 – $26.00/hour

Pay range is negotiable based on experience, education, skills, and credentials.
