EMDR Therapist (LICSW/LMHC) - Remote MA

EMDR Unlocked is a Massachusetts telehealth trauma-therapy practice. We are hiring a licensed therapist (LICSW or LMHC) as a W-2 employee. Already EMDR-trained, or ready to be: if you aren't trained yet, we pay for your EMDRIA-approved Basic Training. Full-time or part-time is welcome. THE ROLE - Provide therapy, centered on EMDR, by secure video to clients across Massachusetts: children, adolescents, adults, couples, families and older adults. - Common concerns: trauma, anxiety, depression, and intergenerational and immigration-related stress. - Your caseload is filled from our existing waitlist and matched to your training, age-group experience and language. - 100% remote from your home in Massachusetts. You set your own hours within the week (the listed shift is only an example). Full-time is about 22-25 sessions per week. - Regular case consultation with Sherly Millan, LICSW (weekly in your first months). We handle billing, insurance, scheduling and intake. PAY AND BENEFITS - W-2, paid per completed session: $55-$85 per insurance session, averaging about $71 (60% of what the insurer pays us, never less than $55). +$5 for each session held in Spanish or Portuguese. - Paid every two weeks for every session you hold. We don't wait for the insurer, and denials are our problem, not yours. - At 25 sessions a week that's roughly $80,000-$88,000 a year. - At 20+ sessions a week: $300/month health stipend, 10 PTO days, $500 CEU budget and a 3% 401(k). - Workers' compensation and Layer-1 malpractice coverage under the practice policy. WE'LL PAY FOR IT If you're a licensed LICSW or LMHC with trauma experience but no EMDR training, we pay for your EMDRIA-approved EMDR Basic Training (Part 1, Part 2 and the required consultation hours), and you're paid for your training time. Training takes about 2-4 months, the same window insurance credentialing takes, so you start seeing clients on the same schedule as a trained hire. In return we ask for a 12-month commitment after you finish: if you leave on your own within that year, you repay a prorated share of the tuition (1/12 forgiven each month), billed separately and never taken from your pay. If we end the role, you owe nothing. Already trained? No training agreement. REQUIREMENTS - Active, unrestricted Massachusetts LICSW or LMHC license in good standing, with trauma-focused clinical experience. - EMDR Basic Training from an EMDRIA-approved provider is a plus, not a requirement (see above). - Individual (Type 1) NPI, current HIPAA training, and eligibility to be credentialed with commercial insurance plans. - Your own personal malpractice policy (about $90-$200/yr), in addition to the practice policy. - Eligible to work in the United States. Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred. - We are not currently hiring LCSW supervisees, LMFTs or psychologists.
