The Job Eckert and Ziegler Isotope Products seeks an Associate Health Physicist to join our team. The Associate Health Physicist reports to Supervising Health Physicist, who provides administrative and technical guidance. The Associate Health Physicist is responsible for hands-on and daily support of the laboratory chemists and for specifically assigned aspects of the radiological safety program. Performs routine surveillance procedures to ensure manufacturing work is conducted in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and policies. Recognize, evaluate and control ionizing radiation exposure to employees, visitors and the general public. Provides support for non-radiological safety programs. Assists and guides Health Physics Technicians. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 1. Conduct all assigned tasks in compliance with applicable federal and state regulations and Company policies and procedures 2. Ensure compliance of company work practices and policies with applicable federal and state laws and regulations 3. Provide radiological surveillance support for production activities covered by Special Radiological Work Permits (SRWPs) 4.
