Full job description
About the role
Uber Advertising enables brands to connect with millions of consumers across Uber’s global network. From sponsored listings on Uber Eats to journey-based ads on the Uber Rides app and in-car entertainment screens, we offer high-intent, measurable advertising solutions. The US&C (United States & Canada) mega-region represents our largest monetized market, making this role central to driving regional revenue growth and operational excellence.
As a Senior Sales Operations Associate, you will serve as the strategic and operational partner to the US&C Ad Sales leadership team. You will drive day-to-day cadence and execution across territory planning, pipeline hygiene, revenue forecasting, quota tracking, and sales efficiency initiatives.
What you’ll do
Regional Sales Strategy & Execution
-
Strategic Business Partnering: Partner directly with US&C Sales Leaders and Managers to drive GTM planning, sales team capacity analysis, and growth strategies.
-
Cadence & Forecasting: Drive the weekly, monthly, and quarterly business review (QBR) cadence. Maintain accurate revenue forecasts, track against targets, and highlight emerging risks or opportunities.
-
Territory & Account Planning: Own account assignments, territory balancing, and book-of-business maintenance in Salesforce to ensure equitable quota opportunity and coverage across US&C.
Sales Operations & Analytics
-
Pipeline & Deal Analytics: Monitor pipeline health, conversion rates, deal velocity, and historical rep performance. Translate raw CRM data into actionable insights for sales leadership.
-
Process Optimization: Identify and eliminate operational friction in the sales cycle (e.g., contracting bottlenecks, credit/split approvals, or onboarding ramp time).
-
Compensation & Quota Support: Partner with the Global Sales Compensation team to handle regional quota adjustments, track rep performance vs. targets, and address team payout queries.
Cross-Functional Enablement
-
System & Tool Adoption: Drive regional adoption and best practices for Salesforce and revenue intelligence tools across the US&C sales organization.
-
Go-To-Market Launches: Facilitate regional rollouts for new advertising products, pricing packages, or sales collateral in close alignment with Product Marketing and Ad Ops.
Basic Qualifications
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Analytics, Commercial Strategy, or Financial Planning.
-
Advanced proficiency in SQL for handling large, unstructured datasets and synthesizing business insights.
-
Proven experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
-
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or Business Administration.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience within B2B sales, SaaS, or consumption-based marketplace businesses.
-
Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple competing workstreams using tools like Asana or JIRA.
-
Knowledge of Python, R, or ETL processes to further automate and scale reporting solutions.
-
Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and C-level executives.
