What You Will Do
As a BTP Administrator, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services to support enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, performance, and compliance of SAP systems.
BTP Platform Administration
-
Manage global accounts, subaccounts, directories, and service entitlements
-
Monitor resource consumption and maintain assigned quota limits
-
Provision and configure BTP services across environments including development, test, and production landscapes
-
Administer Cloud Transport Management (cTMS) and manage transports in collaboration with Development and Integration teams
Security & Compliance
-
Configure and manage Identity Authentication Service (IAS) and Identity Provisioning Service (IPS)
-
Configure audit logging to meet SOX and enterprise compliance requirements
-
Partner with Cyber Security teams to ensure alignment with enterprise security standards
-
Manage secure connectivity between BTP, on-premise systems, and SAP SaaS solutions using SAP Cloud Connector
Integration & Connectivity
-
Configure and support APIs, Event Mesh, integration flows, and destinations
-
Troubleshoot integration, runtime and production issues across BTP services
Operations & Monitoring
-
Maintain documentation, standards, and operational procedures for BTP services
-
Support end-to-end interface monitoring, performance tuning, and failure resolution
-
Provide sustainment support during and after project rollout
Collaboration
-
Work closely with SAP functional, technical, infrastructure, and security teams to support application deployment and lifecycle mangement

Participate in technical design discussions and solution documentation
Qualifications You Must Have
-
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
-
Experience administering SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and supporting complex SAP S4 HANA landscapes
-
Experience with SAP Cloud Connector configuration, administration, and troubleshooting integration and production issues
-
Experience working cross-functionally with SAP teams including functional, technical, infrastructure, and security
-
Experience with observability and system monitoring platforms
Qualifications We Prefer

Deep experience with SAP BTP administration in complex enterprise environments

Experience with S4 HANA, including SAP Application Interface Framework (AIF) and Basis administration
-
Experience configuring Event Mesh, APIs and Integration Suite

Experience with BTP Build Work Zone configuration

Strong communication, documentation, and governance skills

Role Type: Remote
This position is currently designated as remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories). Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.
The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
