Preschool Lead Teacher

Preschool Lead Teacher Kingdom Life Childcare is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Preschool Lead Teacher to join our team! The Lead Teacher will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment while providing developmentally appropriate learning experiences for preschool-aged children. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education, enjoy working as part of a team, and be committed to supporting the growth and development of every child. ### Qualifications 1. Meet Pennsylvania DHS/OCDEL requirements for a Group Supervisor/Lead Teacher. 2. Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred. 3. Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills. 4. Ability to work collaboratively with classroom staff and administration. 5. Ability to create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment. 6. Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices. 7. Must complete all required Pennsylvania child care clearances and background checks. 8. Must complete required health, safety, CPR/First Aid, mandated reporter, and other applicable training. 9. Dependable, professional, patient, and enthusiastic. 10. Commitment to the mission and values of Kingdom Life Childcare. ### Education Candidates must meet Pennsylvania DHS/OCDEL educational requirements for a Group Supervisor, which may include: 1. Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or a related human services field; or 2. Bachelor's degree with at least 30 qualifying credits and one year of experience working with children; or 3. Associate degree in a qualifying field with two years of experience working with children; or 4. Associate degree with at least 30 qualifying credits and three years of experience working with children. Education and experience will be reviewed to determine eligibility under current Pennsylvania DHS/OCDEL regulations.
