Human Capital Specialist

The Position:

Censeo Consulting Group is seeking Human Capital Specialists at multiple experience levels to support the General Services Administration (GSA) Assisted Acquisition Services (AAS) organization through the Contracted Enterprise Support (ACES) program.

Human Capital Specialists will provide analytical, operational, and program support for human capital and workforce initiatives. In this role, you will work with government leaders, program teams, and other stakeholders to support workforce planning, organizational initiatives, talent-related activities, human capital data and reporting, and the development and implementation of processes that help the organization effectively manage and support its workforce.

This position is ideal for professionals who combine strong organizational and analytical skills with experience in human resources, workforce management, organizational effectiveness, and federal program support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support human capital programs, workforce initiatives, and related organizational activities.

  • Assist with workforce planning activities, including collecting, organizing, and analyzing workforce information.

  • Support talent management, workforce development, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.

  • Collect, validate, organize, and analyze human capital and workforce data.

  • Develop and maintain workforce reports, trackers, dashboards, presentations, and other management tools.

  • Analyze workforce information to identify trends, gaps, risks, and areas requiring additional attention.

  • Support the development and documentation of human capital processes, procedures, workflows, and standard operating procedures.

  • Coordinate human capital activities, meetings, working sessions, and stakeholder engagements.

  • Prepare briefings, presentations, reports, meeting materials, and other communications for government stakeholders.

  • Document decisions, action items, responsibilities, and deadlines and support follow-through to completion.

  • Support onboarding, workforce integration, training, and employee development activities as assigned.

  • Assist with workforce surveys, assessments, data collection activities, and analysis of results.

  • Coordinate with program, operations, acquisition, financial, technical, and other functional teams on workforce-related needs and initiatives.

  • Maintain organized and accurate human capital program documentation and records.

  • Identify opportunities to improve human capital processes, reporting, coordination, and workforce support.

  • Support multiple human capital initiatives and priorities in a deadline-driven federal consulting environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

At Censeo, we are looking for unique candidates whose passion and enthusiasm will help shape Censeo’s client insights and workplace culture. Our staff have a wide range of backgrounds, areas of expertise, personality types, and favorite breakfast foods. Our client and cultural successes are rooted in our team’s innovation, creative problem solving, and collaboration. The unique perspective that you bring and the way you tackle problems are much more important to us than what’s printed on your diploma. We believe an effective Human Capital Specialist will be able to combine strategic thinking, analytical judgment, and strong people skills to identify and implement meaningful, practical changes for federal clients. Qualifications for the role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, organizational development, industrial/organizational psychology, public administration, management, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.

  • Experience supporting human resources, human capital management, workforce planning, organizational development, talent management, HR operations, or related activities.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and communicate workforce and human capital information.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation and records.

  • Experience developing reports, presentations, trackers, process documentation, or other business materials.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to interact professionally and effectively with employees, managers, program teams, and government stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and related business applications.

  • Experience with workforce data, reporting, dashboards, human capital systems, or HR analytics is a plus.

  • Experience supporting GSA or another federal government agency is preferred.

  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, PMP, or other relevant human capital, HR, or project management credentials are a plus.

Experience Levels:

  • Early Career: 0-1+ years of experience in human resources, human capital management, workforce planning, organizational development, talent management, HR operations, federal program support, or a closely related field.

  • Mid Level: 4+ years of experience in human resources, human capital management, workforce planning, organizational development, talent management, HR operations, federal program support, or a closely related field.
