Full job description
Our client is seeking skilled technicians to join their manufacturing team!These could be great positions for farmers or students, etc. who may need flexibility for farm work or studies. The ideal candidates will have: * a mechanical aptitude; * be able to read blueprints; * speak English; * have reliable transportation. These temporary to hire openings with a local, family owned business offer: * A flexible schedule between the operating hours of 8:00am - 6:00pm, Mon - Fri; * A pay rate of $16 - $20/hr. (depending on experience;) * Paid vacation time and profit sharing program; * An opportunity to learn farm tractor and vintage vehicle wiring methods, standards, and design!Wiring Harness Specialists: In this role, you will be responsible for replacing wiring harnesses for farm tractors, construction machinery, and vintage vehicles. * Measuring and cutting of wires, crimping, soldering, taping and braiding machine operation * Must be able to work at least 30hrs/weekWireless Harness Technician: The Technician is responsible for the wiring harness repair for most makes of farm tractors, etc. * Reverse engineering of wiring harnesses * Drawing of wiring harness patterns and diagrams * Assisting in wiring harness production * Must be able to work a full-time schedule of 40hrs/weekRequirements: * Must be able to handle unexpected problems with good problem solving abilities; * Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds; * Detail-oriented with some artistic ability; * Must be able to operate hand crimping tools.If you are looking for a flexible position with a great company, we encourage you to apply today!
