At Related, we are building a more modern, integrated, and decision-ready HR function – one where workforce data is trusted, accessible, and actively used to guide leadership decisions. The Associate, Workforce Intelligence will help build the metrics, governed datasets, data pipelines, and reporting products that form the foundation of this capability across the firm. This is a hands-on role for someone who combines strong analytics and data-development skills with business curiosity and commercial awareness – someone who wants to understand not just what the data says, but why it matters in the context of business performance. This position will report to the Director, HR Systems & Workforce Intelligence. This is a hybrid position based in our New York office. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Help define and maintain standardized workforce metrics (e.g., headcount, movement, attrition, internal mobility, cost per hire, etc.)

  • Contribute to the development of data definitions, governance standards, and documentation to ensure clarity and alignment across HR platforms

  • Design and maintain clean, repeatable datasets and scalable workflows, including data-quality controls, reconciliations, and lineage, to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.

  • Partner closely with HR Systems and Operations peers to ensure data integrity, alignment across systems, and clear definitions

  • Support the Director, HR Systems & Workforce Intelligence in framing questions, testing hypotheses, and translating analysis into clear decision options for key stakeholders

  • Extract, shape, and analyze data using SQL, BI tooling, advanced Excel, and/or modern analytics approaches

  • Present findings clearly and concisely to stakeholders, adapting depth based on audience

  • Build, maintain, and monitor repeatable workforce data pipelines and curated datasets using SQL and, as the environment evolves, Azure Data Factory and Databricks

  • Develop and maintain user-facing workforce reporting and insight solutions through a user-facing interaction layer, including Power BI and Azure Web Apps.

  • Leverage approved AI-enabled tools to assist with pipeline development, data transformation and validation, visualization, analysis, documentation, and the delivery of stakeholder-ready insights, while maintaining appropriate human review, data privacy, and quality controls
