Full job description

Portfolio Operations & Analytics Analyst — Private Credit

Build the reporting and workflows behind a growing private-credit portfolio—and work directly with the leaders building the firm.

Our client is a New York investment and asset-management platform focused on auto loans and leases. Join a lean team where your analysis informs portfolio decisions and your improvements become part of how the business runs.

What You’ll Own

  • Turn loan and lease data into clear portfolio reporting; investigate trends, exceptions, and discrepancies.

  • Support servicer oversight, research contract questions, and follow issues through to resolution.

  • Build better Excel models, reports, and workflows, using AI where it improves speed and accuracy.

  • Support investor reporting, materials, and CRM follow-through, with exposure to investment analysis.

What You’ll Bring

  • Relevant experience in structured finance, asset-backed or consumer credit, portfolio/servicing analytics, financial-services operations, or investment banking with meaningful credit or financial-analysis work. Mortgage and equipment-finance experience can transfer. A credible bachelor’s degree and evidence of strong performance matter more than employer or school prestige for experienced candidates.

  • Alternatively, a degree from a highly selective university in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, or a related analytical field, with strong academics and a substantive relevant internship.

  • Advanced Excel, including financial modeling; practical AI experience with thoughtful output verification.

  • Evidence of achievement and accurate execution through work, internships, research, or substantial projects.
