Full job description

EGS is seeking an ACTIVE CLEARED Java Developer to help us build Web and backend application/services for credentialing/case management system. Using Java/Spring based REST APIs along with a Web 2.0 framework and a continuous integration environment. The candidate will join our team of developers building the next-generation of customer engagement systems for federal service agencies. Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience developing and implementing software solutions using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap and Java. This is a long term contract position that comes with top competitive rates and great benefits. This position can be preformed remotely 2 days a week (Monday's and Friday's) and requires the ability to report to the client site in Colorado Springs, Colorado (3x a week; Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Thursdays) MUST BE US CITIZEN. LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY WITH ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE Minimum Skills - Bachelor's Degree in Related Field or can be substituted for Associates degree plus two years experience - 2+ years of Java development experience in order to build enterprise applications - 1+ years experience with using Java development tools (e.g. Eclipse, JUnit, Git) - Active Final Secret Security Clearance Preferred Skills - Experience in a large scale Federal IT Program - Experience with SAFe Agile delivery framework
