A Technician ResourceManager plays a key role in ensuring the right technical resources are deployedto meet customer and business needs. A typical day involves coordinating anddispatching field service technicians to outages while balancing technicianavailability, skills, certifications, and customer priorities. The role alsoprovides administrative support for workforce planning, travel coordination,training compliance, and resource forecasting. In addition, the TechnicianResource Manager develops and supports direct reports through coaching, performancediscussions, career development, and succession planning, while collaboratingclosely with operations, project management, and field teams to deliver safeand successful customer outcomes.

Optimize technician utilization by coordinating and dispatching field serviceresources to customer outages, maintenance activities, inspections, and projectassignments based on skills, certifications, availability, and businesspriorities.

Partner with operations, project management, and field leadership teams todevelop resource plans that support safe, efficient, and successful executionof customer work scopes.

Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for direct reports,fostering employee engagement, professional development, succession planning,and career growth.

Oversee workforce administration activities including training compliance,travel coordination, time and attendance management, onboarding, and resourceforecasting.

Monitor resource demand, workforce capacity, and technician qualifications toidentify staffing gaps, mitigate risks, and support long-term workforceplanning strategies.

Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring resources are appropriatelytrained, qualified, and aligned with company policies, customer requirements,and operational excellence initiatives.
