How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
At Delta Air Lines, we're redefining how brands connect with customers through premium, high-impact advertising experiences. We're expanding our advertising capabilities across Delta's owned channels, and we're looking for a Business Operations Senior Analyst who can bring structure, discipline, and follow-through to a fast-moving organization—turning new ideas and ways of working into practical processes that help Delta's Media Network operate effectively at scale.
The Business Operations Senior Analyst will provide hands-on execution support across Delta's Media Network, helping translate business decisions into documented processes, workflows, tools, and operating practices. Working closely with Business Operations leadership and partners across Ad Sales, Ad Products, Ad Sales Marketing, Media Operations, Finance, and other Delta functions, this role will manage detailed workplans, coordinate cross-functional inputs, document decisions and ways of working, track actions and dependencies, and help drive priority operational initiatives through implementation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and energized by taking complex work from “we know what needs to happen” to “it's done and working.”
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
-
Process Design & Documentation: Translate agreed ways of working into clear, practical processes, workflows, templates, ownership models, and other operating documentation. Maintain and evolve documentation as the Media Network’s capabilities and organization mature.
-
Operational Initiative Execution: Provide hands-on project management for priority Business Operations initiatives, developing detailed workplans, coordinating inputs, tracking actions and dependencies, and proactively following up with owners to drive work through completion.
-
Cross-Functional Workflow Implementation: Help stand up and operationalize workflows that span Ad Sales, Ad Products, Ad Sales Marketing, Media Operations, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and other Delta functions, ensuring roles, handoffs, inputs, approvals, and escalation paths are clearly defined and work in practice.
-
Continuous Improvement: Identify operational friction, gaps, and overly manual processes; develop practical solutions and work with stakeholders to implement improvements that make the organization simpler and more effective.
-
AI & Automation Enablement: Leverage AI, automation, and emerging tools to accelerate process documentation, analysis, status tracking, reporting, and other operational workflows; identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
-
Cross-Functional Partnership: Build strong working relationships across the Media Network and broader Delta organization, coordinating inputs and driving follow-through to ensure operational decisions are translated into action.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
-
Experience in business operations, program/project management, consulting, or related operational roles, ideally within digital advertising, media, technology, or another fast-moving business environment.
-
Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
-
Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
-
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
-
Ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of experience.
-
Demonstrated ability to translate business decisions and high-level operating models into detailed processes, workflows, documentation, tools, and implementation plans.
-
Strong project management and execution skills, with experience developing detailed workplans, managing dependencies, coordinating cross-functional inputs, and driving actions through completion.
-
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives, stakeholders, and deadlines without losing momentum. Experience supporting commercial and business operations processes such as contracting, approvals, billing and reconciliation, vendor management, budgeting, workforce planning, or governance.
-
Strong analytical skills, with experience gathering and synthesizing data to support business planning, operational decisions, and performance tracking.
-
Demonstrated ability to build practical operating tools and infrastructure, including trackers, templates, process documentation, dashboards, and other mechanisms that create visibility and accountability.
-
Proven ability to collaborate effectively and drive follow-through across cross-functional teams.
