This position may be eligible for an $8,000 recruitment bonus. Current state employees are not eligible for recruitment payments upon transfer, demotion, or promotion to another agency.

Join the Anamosa State Penitentiary team as a Licensed Practical Nurse! In this position you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating health care for incarcerated individuals.

This would include following nursing procedures: Conducting physical examination, providing CPR and first aid, and completing required documentation.

Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the Iowa Board of Nursing or licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact Administrator's Agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
