Transition Subjuect Matter Expert (Intel)

CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an employee-owned, mission focused solutions and digital transformation company is seeking a highly qualified Transition Subject Matter Expert.

The Transition Subject Matter Expert (Intel) - provides specialized transition counseling and training support for clients with intelligence community or highly specialized backgrounds. This role delivers individualized counseling, supports development of transition plans and resumes, coordinates required workshops and briefings, and helps clients navigate TAP requirements while addressing unique career transition considerations.

  • Provide one-on-one transition counseling to Service Members and Family Members, answer questions, and assist in development of the Individual Transition Plan.

  • Coordinate local briefings, workshops, and required partner sessions, including employment and VA-related activities.

  • Assist clients in building resumes, identifying civilian transition goals, and completing gap analysis deliverables.

  • Provide specialized guidance to clients with intelligence-related backgrounds on how to translate experience for post-service opportunities.

  • Support outreach, pre-separation counseling, and follow-on counseling in accordance with contract requirements.

  • Maintain flexibility for mission-driven travel, evening/weekend support, and non-standard hours when required.

  • Master’s degree preferred in Training and Development, HR Management, Counseling, or a related field, with at least 2 years of career counseling, education, or related experience; bachelor’s degree accepted with additional experience.

  • Two years of military lifestyle experience through personal and/or professional work with military personnel and families is highly desired; non-military candidates should have 4 years of counseling experience.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, needs assessment capability, and experience delivering individual and small-group training.

  • Familiarity with standard counseling concepts, practices, and procedures and the ability to work independently using sound judgment.

  • U.S. citizenship and successful completion of a National Agency Check/background investigation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting clients from intelligence, security, or other specialized career fields.

  • Curriculum development experience and demonstrated use of customer feedback to improve program effectiveness.

  • Military veterans and spouses encouraged to apply.
