Our client seeks a Business Systems Analyst III who will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams. The role centers on requirements elicitation, user story development, process analysis, and support throughout the SDLC. The ideal candidate works in the weeds to ask the right questions, document clear requirements, create process flows, and partner with technical teams to ensure solutions meet business needs.

Rate: $50.00 to $55.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs, challenges, and desired outcomes.

• Lead requirements elicitation sessions and conduct effective discovery.

• Translate needs into clear, well-written user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Create and maintain business process flows and workflows.

• Analyze current-state processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.

• Document functional and system requirements.

• Understand application, system, and process interactions and impacts.

• Collaborate with developers, QA, Product Owners, and technology teams throughout the SDLC.

• Clarify requirements and support development and testing.

• Ensure requirements are complete, clear, testable, and aligned to objectives.

• Contribute to solution discussions and provide recommendations based on analysis.

• Maintain requirements and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience Requirements:

• Proven hands-on experience as a Business Systems Analyst.

• Strong requirements elicitation and stakeholder interview skills.

• Ability to write high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Experience creating process flows and workflow diagrams.

• Solid understanding of the SDLC from discovery through delivery.

• Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.

• Ability to translate complex business processes into system requirements.

• Effective communication and facilitation skills.

• Comfort working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.

• Preferred: Agile experience, multi-system integration experience, and familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar tools. Experience identifying process gaps and recommending improvements.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
