About Us Overhead Door Company of Salt Lake is a premier provider of residential and commercial garage door installation and repair services across the Salt Lake region. We foster a supportive work environment and equip our team with the tools and benefits needed to succeed. ### Key Responsibilities - Installation & Assembly: Perform high-quality installation of new residential sectional doors, commercial rolling steel doors, high-speed doors, openers, and associated structural hardware - Service & Troubleshooting: Diagnose, repair, and replace faulty components including springs, cables, tracks, and openers. - Customer Relations: Represent the company professionally on job sites, providing clear communication, presenting options, and ensuring full customer satisfaction. - Safety & Standards: Maintain a safe work environment by strictly following company safety protocols, wearing mandatory PPE, and complying with OSHA standards. - Job Management: Track job time, inventory, and completed work orders accurately using ServiceTitan and digital mobile devices. ### Qualifications & Requirements Experience: Hands-on experience in residential or commercial garage door installation and service is required. Technical Skills: Strong mechanical knowledge and experience operating power tools, welders, torches, and lift equipment (e.g., scissor lifts, forklifts). Physical Demands: Ability to perform heavy lifting (50+ lbs), work at heights on ladders, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Driving & Background: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, authorization to work in the U.S., and willingness to undergo a standard background check.
