Business Insights Analyst

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE The Business Insights Analyst will create and analyze monthly point of sale reports and work closely with account managers to create sales presentations. The right candidate will have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and demonstrate the ability to deal with ambiguity and show flexibility. Create and analyze regular monthly POS and consumer panel reports and presentations to support account managers and sales leadership team. 2. Synthesize external trends with internal data in evaluating the best strategic course of action. 3. Work closely with account managers to deliver insight-driven sales stories to help increase distribution and sales growth. 4. Monitor the results of distribution gains and promotional strategies by evaluating performance in relation to category share and volume growth. 5. Evaluate category trends and become an expert on the tea and juice categories. 6. Develop a knowledge base on major brands, packs, items, flavors at a national and regional level. 7. Learn and understand the retail landscape and the major differences among multi outlet retail channel environments. (Food, Drug, Mass, Club, etc.) 8. Other duties may be assigned, as needed, or required. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree in business, economics, marketing, accounting, finance or related field or minimum 3 years of experience in Business Analytics. Analytical, evaluative, and data-driven mindset Ability to multi-task Detail oriented Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience with IRI or Nielsen POS data a plus Strong Knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel and PowerPoint) o Pivot tables o Charts and graphs o V-Lookup, etc. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY None WORK ENVIRONMENT Corporate office PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
