Electrical Technician

Location: Rockford, IL

Job ID: #73307

Pay Range: $39-45

Job Description

Daily tasks may include but are not limited to:

  • Operation of equipment/systems during testing in accordance with startup/shutdown procedures, test procedures, and other technical instructions.

  • Generation of shift reports to document plans, observations/progress, and next steps.

  • Support of EMC test bench layout in accordance with EMC test standards, including wire harness layout on test bench, placement of units under test, and placement of production breaks.

  • Integration of test setup to ensure system is operational and monitored parameters are satisfactory.

  • Coordination with test lab personnel as needed to drive test progress in accordance with established plans.

  • Support of technical documentation and review of test data.

  • Maintenance of route books and test logbooks.

  • Regular coordination with EMC Engineer and EMC Project Engineer.

  • Assistance with disassembly/packing of setup at the conclusion of testing.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have experience supporting EMC qualification testing in accordance with DO-160, MIL-STD-461, or other similar aerospace standards.

  • Must have experience supporting test setups and associated integration of test setups, conducting troubleshooting, reviewing test data and interpreting results, and investigating test outages.

  • Strong written and verbal technical communication skills are required.

  • Must be US citizen
