Position Title:Postdoctoral Research Associate - Ovarian Biology and Toxicology

Job Description:

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:The Postdoctoral Research Associate will contribute to a collaborative research program focused on understanding the molecular and phenotypic ovarian responses to PFAS exposure. The successful candidate will conduct animal exposure studies, perform ex vivo ovary culture experiments, and collect phenotypic and biochemical data. Responsibilities include molecular analyses, ovarian follicle assessment, steroid hormone quantification, experimental design, data analysis, manuscript preparation, and training and mentoring graduate students. The position also includes maintaining detailed research records, managing laboratory sample inventories, and supporting a collaborative research environment.

Required Minimum Qualifications:PhD in Reproductive Biology, Toxicology or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in ovarian biology, female reproductive biology, and/or toxicology.

  • Experience with animal handling, exposure studies, and biological data collection.

  • Experience performing molecular laboratory analyses, including western blotting and immunofluorescent staining.

  • Experience with histology, ovarian follicle counting, and/or ex vivo ovary culture.

  • Experience with statistical analysis and coding in Python or R, bioinformatic analyses, and/or proteomic analyses.
