JOB TITLE: Talent Acquisition Lead
REPORTS TO: HR Director
Company Overview
Paschal Home Services is a privately held, non–private equity backed home services provider, still growing with 13 locations and 400+ employees. We are building something designed to last—focused on long-term growth, best-in-class culture, and doing things the right way.
Position Overview
Paschal is looking for a builder, not a box-checker. The Talent Acquisition Lead is a strategic, hands-on leader who will rethink how Paschal attracts and hires talent across our HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and support teams in Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas. One day you’re closing a Master Plumber in Tulsa; the next you’re redesigning the hiring workflow so managers can hire faster with less effort. You’ll lead our applicant tracking system (ATS), put AI and automation to work across the hiring process, manage external recruiting partners, support hiring managers, and use data to forecast hiring needs and reduce early turnover. Working closely with the HR Director, Regional General Managers (RGMs), and hiring managers, you’ll be a strategic partner on workforce planning and the candidate experience. If you’ve sharpened your skills in a larger organization and are ready for a real voice, where good ideas turn into action in weeks instead of quarters and without layers of red tape, this role is for you.
Why This Role Is Different
-
A real voice: You’ll own Paschal’s talent acquisition function, report to the HR Director, and partner directly with senior and field leadership. Your recommendations shape how Paschal hires, not just how requisitions get filled.
-
Speed over red tape: We’re a growing company with a small, decisive leadership team. Good ideas get approved and implemented quickly, without layers of committees and sign-offs.
-
Build, don’t just maintain: You’ll shape our ATS, AI tools, and recruiting processes from the ground up instead of inheriting someone else’s playbook.
-
Visible impact: Every hire you make and every process you improve directly affects Paschal’s ability to grow and serve customers, and leadership will notice.
-
Room to grow: As Paschal grows and the recruiting team expands, this role is positioned to grow into Talent Acquisition leadership with a team of its own.
Recruiting & Talent Delivery
-
Personally recruit for priority, leadership, and hard-to-fill roles.
-
Work closely with field leadership to set requisition priorities across all locations based on the annual hiring plan, open needs, and business impact so that no location goes uncovered.
-
Build sustainable talent pipelines through trade schools, apprenticeship programs, referrals, community and military transition partnerships, and competitor talent mapping.
-
Manage relationships with external recruiting partners, including scope of work, service levels, quality of hire, placement guarantees, and cost per placement.
-
Partner with hiring managers and leaders to deliver a fast, consistent, and positive candidate experience.
Recruiting Technology, AI & Automation
-
Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of a new ATS, including business requirements, vendor demos, ROI analysis, data migration, integration with the current HRIS, configuration, and user training.
-
Identify and implement AI and automation across the hiring workflow, such as candidate screening, two-way text messaging, interview self-scheduling, reminders, and offer and onboarding workflows, to reduce manual work and time-to-fill.
-
Ensure responsible use of AI in hiring, including human oversight of hiring decisions, monitoring for adverse impact, and compliance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
-
Serve as system owner and subject matter expert for recruiting technology, maintaining configuration, permissions, templates, integrations, and documentation.
Process & Scalability
-
Design and document scalable recruiting processes, playbooks, and standard operating processes to support increasing hiring volume.
-
Support hiring managers throughout the hiring process with structured interview guides, scorecards, mobile-friendly tools, and training.
-
Partner with HR and operations to improve onboarding and reduce 90-day turnover, using early-tenure and exit data to identify and address root causes.
-
Strengthen Paschal’s employer brand and employment value proposition across job postings, career pages, social media, and hiring events.
Analytics, Planning & Compliance
-
Own recruiting metrics and reporting, including time-to-fill, source of hire, cost per hire, offer acceptance, 90-day retention, and agency performance by location and job class.
-
Maintain the annual hiring plan and recruiting capacity model with the HR Director, forecasting hiring needs from headcount budgets, attrition, and seasonality.
-
Manage the recruiting budget, including job advertising, agency fees, recruiting technology, and events.
-
Ensure recruiting practices comply with EEO, background check, I-9, and recordkeeping requirements and applicable company policies.
-
Complete other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
-
Strategic & Hands-On: Comfortable developing long-term recruiting strategies while actively sourcing, screening, and hiring skilled trades talent.
-
