Water / Wastewater Operator (Field Services & Treatment Systems) - Part-Time

This role is part-time, remote, must reside or be willing to relocate to Somerset, PA area. Your Responsibilities as a Water / Wastewater Operator (Treatment Plant & Field Services): 1. Travelto clientsitesto perform operational evaluations of water and wastewater treatmentfacilities(WTP/WWTP), lift stations, and related infrastructure 2. Monitorand evaluate treatment system performance, including pumps, motors, meters, gauges, and process control systems 3. Collect, test, and analyze water and wastewater samples; interpret results to assess treatment performance and compliance 4. Reviewandoptimizetreatment processes, including chemical feed systems and dosing, to improve efficiency and reliability 5. Performpreventive maintenance and corrective repairs on treatment systems, distribution systems, and equipment 6. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical components, including pumps, blowers, valves, and control systems 7. Monitorsystem conditions,identifyoperational issues, and respond to alarms, equipment failures, and emergency conditions 8. Clean,maintain, and service tanks, wet wells, booster stations, and other facilities 9. Recordandmaintainaccurateoperational data, maintenance logs, and inspection reports using computerized and manual systems 10. Prepareclear written reports and communicate findings, recommendations, and corrective actions to supervisors and project managers 11. Assistwith system startups, process adjustments, inspections, and routine operations 12. Coordinatematerials, spare parts, and equipment needed for maintenance and operational activities 13. Operatecompany vehicles and equipment safelyin accordance withcompany policies 14. Ensurecompliance with all applicable environmental regulations, permits, and safety requirements (EPA, OSHA, and state standards) 15. Followall health and safety procedures, including proper use of PPE 16. Collaboratewith team members and clients toidentifyoperational improvements and implement best practices 17.
