Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Lead Conversationla Voice AI Engineer to supporta large health insurance client of ours. The team is building and scaling a conversational Voice AI platform within the Medicare space. This initiative focuses on creating AI-driven member interactions in a highly regulated healthcare environment, requiring a blend of conversational design, prompt engineering, and technical development expertise.

Skills and Requirements

  • Strong experience with conversational Voice AI platforms and solutions.
  • Ability to design and develop conversation flows, including flow diagrams, prompts, and dialogue management.
  • Hands-on experience with Python development.
  • Deep understanding of the end-to-end conversational AI lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and optimization.
  • Expertise in prompt engineering and tuning AI interactions for member-facing experiences.
  • Understanding of differences between chat-based AI and voice-based AI, with a preference for candidates who have worked specifically in voice environments.
  • Experience with IVR systems is highly transferable and considered a strong background for this opportunity.
  • Ability to identify requirements, understand system behaviors, and determine what needs to be configured versus custom coded.
  • Healthcare or health-tech experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting health insurance organizations, particularly Medicare-focused programs.
  • Familiarity with PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) operations is a plus.
  • Experience working in highly regulated, compliance-focused environments.
  • Prior exposure to member-facing solutions where compliance, security, and auditability are critical
