Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Secret Software Engineer (Cloud & DevOps) to support a mission-critical program, hybrid in Dahlgren, VA. This individual will support the full software development lifecycle with a focus on full-stack development, cloud engineering, DevOps automation, and secure application deployment. Candidates must have an active Secret clearance with an interim Top Secret and an IAT Level II certification. This candidate must also have 5–8+ years of experience in software engineering, full-stack development, cloud engineering, and/or DevOps, with strong technical troubleshooting skills across software, cloud, and infrastructure environments. They will develop and maintain enterprise web applications, support applications within Azure and/or AWS, build and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and work with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes. The pay for this role ranges from $45-$59/hour, based on experience.
Skills and Requirements
- Active Secret clearance with interim Top Secret
- IAT Level II certification
- 5–8 years+ of software engineering, full-stack development, cloud engineering, or DevOps experience
- Strong JavaScript and enterprise web application development experience
- Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS
- Hands-on experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills across software, cloud, and infrastructure environments
- Vue.js, Python Flask, Java Spring, TypeScript, and/or HTML
- HashiCorp Vault or similar secrets management tools
- Advanced Kubernetes/Helm experience
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) or cloud automation experience
