Responsible for conducting formal and informal assessments for the identification, placement, and programming of students for Special Education services and providing effective services to help students succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. ** Percentage: 80% ** ** Work calendar days: 188 ** ** Duration of position: Remainder of school year Benefits include: Health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, PERA retirement, paid time off, short and long term disability, access to employee walk-in clinic, as well as other optional benefit elections. ** Pay for this position is determined by the Licensed Educator Salary Schedule based on years of experience and education. Range for position is $58,000 - $89,278 annually (based on a 100% assignment starting August 10th, 2026). ** This is a probationary position. However, PSD employees currently under a licensed contract may apply for this position and if selected, will retain contract status.
