About this Position THIS POSITION IS IN STILLWATER OK The MA/LPN is primarily responsible for ensuring high quality and continuity in the provision of comprehensive primary medical care services. The MA/LPN is utilized in performing typical front and back office clinical functions. The MA/LPN is under the overall on-site supervision of the Sports Medicine Supervisor. Medical Assistant $17.00-$19.13 Licensed Practical Nurse $21.00-$23.63 Required Qualifications Vocational/Technical Practical Nursing or Medical Assistant (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date) Previous front and back-office experience in a health clinic setting or equivalent experience. Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses: Current Registered Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse licensure required in the state of Oklahoma Current CPR certification required. Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge: Knowledge of all areas related to clinic workflow. Excellent customer service skills and good communication skills. Ability to multi-task while providing good patient care. Good computer skills and ability to learn new computer systems as needed. Primary skills include verbal and written communication with patients to promote continuity of care and follow-up as well as daily retrieval and scanning/filing of clinical encounter forms and reports for use by clinic staff during patient care activities.
