Main Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing support and troubleshooting, data analysis and small-scale studies.

  • Provides Continuous Improvement support for the factory. These are small/medium individual projects to improve OEE, Deviations, Yield, etc.

  • Support the component qualification, OEE improvement, and general factory improvements.

  • Collaborating with Sr. engineers to support implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

  • Learn and support Sanofi Manufacturing System (SMS) 2.0 activities and projects.

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

About you

Basic Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other applicable engineering or life sciences field at an accredited university.

  • Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the Internal requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university throughout the duration of the co-op/internship.

  • Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday to Friday for the full duration of the co-op/internship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated willingness to learn, teamwork abilities, excellent communication, adaptability, organizational and analytical skills, and a strong interest in the pharmaceutical and bio-pharmaceutical industry.

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience with capstone projects, team-based engineering projects, or community/international initiatives that demonstrate real-world problem-solving and teamwork skills

  • Familiarity with CAD or engineering design software is a plus

  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or OEE improvement frameworks ·

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for data analysis and reporting

  • Genuine interest in pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $27.00 - $40.00 USD hourly. All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience.
